Amaru

Amaru, whose name means 'serpent' in Quechua, moves with liquid grace that makes his exotic name perfectly fitting. At 11 weeks old, he's one of the more mature kittens and shows remarkable emotional intelligence—he seems to intuitively understand human moods and will adjust his behavior accordingly, offering comfort when you're sad or entertaining antics when you need cheering up. His silver tabby coat has an almost mystical quality, shimmering in the light and giving him an ethereal appearance. Amaru is fascinated by running water and will sit by the faucet for extended periods, batting at the stream with focused concentration. He's developing strong problem-solving skills and has already figured out how to open sliding doors by hooking his paw under the edge. Despite his intelligence and independence, Amaru is deeply affectionate and will seek out lap time every evening, purring with contentment.
